I live in Ky, my husband has recently lost his job due to a life treating illness. I have insurance but finding it impossible to get in a clinic that accepts it. I can not go to rehab, we have 2 small children and no one to help with them. He isn't physically able to take care of them. If anyone could please help me with this!!! I feel like im at the end of a rope just hanging on, I don’t know where else to go or do. I have tried everywhere. Thanks

You may go online to search for suboxone clinics in Ky just by entering "suboxone clinics in ky" in the search engine and it will give you a list. If you would still like to talk, please email at johintervention@yahoo.com

This is what happens so many times on suboxone. I personally do not agree with being put on it. I feel that its substituting one drug for another. It seems like the miracle drug when you go on it, but then when you try to come off of it, you then realize that you've only become addicted to another drug, only you're more dependant on this one than you were the others, for this one made you feel like a normal person so therefore you really cant function normally without it. My suggestion would be to get into a detox unit to get the drugs out and then get into a good Celebrate Recovery program in which you attend a couple days a week faithfully. You desperately need some accountability partners that you can call on when you're feeling tempted. God can and will place the right people on your path and he can and will pull you thru this if you will take that step. The best ones I know of are at Corinth Baptist in London and Eagle Heights in somerset. There are great people who are leaders in those that I know personally who would be more than willing to help you get started. But please, dont go back to the suboxone. I know from the experience of some people very close to me and what they went through, its only another drug.
